FLAG LIFTING LAST DAYS // Finishing Thursday! // nine on seven FIN

Thanks to everyone who helped to ensure nine on seven was a success!!
You can now follow me here: SIMPLETOWN WORX

Flags are unique and powerful markers.
They stake out spaces and occupy them boldly.
Offering meaning and purpose on varying levels.
Physically, geographically, socially, personally.
The visual language applied through flags can
Unite or divide
Invite or repel
Include or exclude
They signify semiotically an intention or an idea, concisely.
The exhibition FLAG LIFTING brings together Marcus Keating, Kasia Lynch and SIMPLETOWN WORX in an examination of the phenomena of flags.
